Due to expansion and having been awarded some major contracts Brygate ltd are seeking full time Architectural fabricator welders with vast experience (10+ year's experienc) to commence on major contracts that we have just been awarded. This will be an ongoing consistency of fabrication, which Include balconies, hand rails, stair cases and some structural welding also. You must be able to work on your own initiative and or as part of a team and help support our company’s vision of delivering products of thehighest quality to our customers. Additionally, added onto your scope of work you may find yourself using the below information also.
- Check measurements and dimensions of each piece that’s being worked on with rulers, measuring tapes or squares
- Place each product component in its appropriate spot as noted in the blueprints for proper alignment by using the appropriate tools
- FABRICATING FROM GIVEN DRAWINGS
- problem solving (technical solutions)
- Mark spots to cut and use tools to manipulate steel, plastic or other materials by cutting, hammering, bending or grinding the workpiece
- Employ furnaces or hand torches to heat up materials to make them more flexible for bending or manipulation into the correct specification
- Experience of using geka punch and band saw
- Review blueprints, drawings and other specification papers before starting work on a fabrication process and during the steps to ensure accurate completion
- Manoeuvre fabrication machines, such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, shears and flame cutters to cut, bend, grind and adjust materials
- Make templates for common work tasks when conducting repetitive motions for the fabrication process to ensure a set standard of work quality
- marking out
- the use of a fork truck - License required
- complete job cards for all drawings given and sign off sheets, abide by our accreditations - BSEN1090 Exc class 3.
- must have awareness certificates such as Abbraisive wheels, manual handling.
