**Location: S80 2AS**

Full-time - Monday to Friday 8.45 to 5.45

Our Receptionists are a key part of the dental team, from the first phone call to the completion of treatment, they provide outstanding customer service to all patients.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Booking and rearranging appointments in the most efficient manner using a diary-management system
- Completing relevant forms for NHS and private schemes within a specified timescale
- Taking payments and chasing outstanding patient debt
- Liaising with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations
- To assist practice manager where appropriate
- To be a main point of contact for referrals
- Assist in monitoring daily UDA targets and check NHS treatments are submitted.
- Obtain and monitor patient feedback
- Monitor the Was Not Brought system

K**ey skills and experience**:

- Administration experience, ideally gained on a front desk Reception (essential)
- Able to use IT and computer-based systems
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of organisation
- An excellent team player
- Positive nature - able to adapt and take on change easily
- Responsible and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills
- Be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English (desirable)
- Prior experience in a dental/medical background (desirable)
