With bases in the UK, Nigeria and Australia, the company has gained an excellent reputation in the marine industry.

We are seeking a confident Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant to join our small team for maternity cover until end of April 2025. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger and daily bank reconciliations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Chase aged debt from customers, checking invoices have been sent and/or uploaded to customers portals
- Perform all sales ledger functions including setting up new accounts in line with policy and general housekeeping
- Liaise with other departments to resolve queries
- Manage UK and overseas insurance cover
- Produce daily bank reconciliation, including the posting of all authorised direct debits, standing orders and bank charges
- BACS receipts to the relevant ledgers
- Support the purchase ledger function including processing of invoices where necessary

**Experience**:

- Confident in credit control activities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Have worked in a busy Accounts department

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
