We have an exciting opportunity for a Triage and Early Interventions Team Leader to join the New Era team in Staffordshire, working 37.5 hours a week.

We are looking for a driven individual, able to motivate our Triage and Early Intervention team to deliver a fast-paced and high quality service to victims of domestic abuse. The role will be responsible for the 'front door' of the New Era service; with immediate need, risk assessment and safeguarding at the forefront of every contact. You will manage the public helpline, Triage and Early Intervention officers, alongside close working with the Operations Manager to manage the demand on the service. You will help to launch our distinct services for children and young people and ensure they are directed to the most appropriate support service. You will ensure referrals to the service are appropriate and onward referred where necessary.

**About the Role**:
This role is based in our Stafford office; but will commute across the area, including Stoke on Trent. You will be working Monday to Friday with some Saturday working on a rota basis.

As a Team Leader you will be:

- Managing a team of Triage and Early Intervention Officers
- Responsible for the public helpline
- Responsible for initial contact, needs and risk assessment
- Lead on safeguarding referrals and access to emergency/crisis services

You will need:

- a good understanding of domestic abuse
- personal resilience
- excellent organisational skills
- managerial experience
