Local Governing Body Member

Ladybarn Primary School, Green End Primary School and Cringle Brook Primary School work together as part of the Kingsway Community Trust, a multi-academy trust, which provides excellent partnership opportunities for the pupils, parents and staff of both schools. The Trust is led and managed by one Executive Headteacher and one Trust Board. The Board of Trustees oversees and monitors the work of the Trust’s schools via its Executive Leadership team and the school’s local governing body committees. In each school there is a full time Head of School who leads and manages alongside the Executive Headteacher.

We are looking to strengthen our shared Local Governing body committee for Green End Primary in Burnage and Ladybarn Primary in Withington. We are particularly interested in appointing someone with the time, energy and passion to commit to our Trust and, on this occasion, we are looking for someone with an education background or financial background.

Our LGB committee meets 5 times per year, during the school day so that Governors are able to see the school when it is at its best - full of pupils. Meetings generally last around 2 hours.
