**Receptionist Job Description**

**Duties**:

- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Be the first point of contact for parents and visitors to the school.
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Provide general administrative support such as filing, photocopying, and data entry etc.
- Using the schools database to locate or communicate with pupils & staff.
- Manage incoming, outgoing mail, packages and courtiers.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering office supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Assist with Fire evacuations and fire registers administration.
- Providing administration support to other staff members.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in an office or administrative role preferred
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, forms)
- Experience with Teams and Sharepoint is an advantage
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
