Hyne Town House Residential home is located on the outskirts of Dartmouth, a small homely residence that provides care and support for the elderly, some of whom may also have significant health needs such as a dementia or physical disabilities.

**About you**

You will need to have a can-do approach and excellent communication skills. Your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through, and above all, you’ll have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our residents.

Experience is preferred but not essential and we welcome applicants from any other industry. Be it hospitality, retail, factory/warehouse background, childcare, or the beauty industry etc. Whoever you are, if you want to care and have the passion for supporting people - WE CAN HELP YOU ACHIEVE THIS.

**What You'll Do**
- Plan person-centered activities to take place on a daily/weekly/monthly basis for our residents.
- Plan for special occassions, such as birthday parties and religious holidays.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members in such a way that promote meaningful engagement for our residents.
- Complete and maintain necessary documentation associated with the role.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of activities, and adjust/introduce activities as needed.
- Liaise with local companies to ensure community engagement.
- Arrange appointments, meetings, and events, on behalf of the residents. Making bookings where applicable and documenting this.
- To maintain accurate information with respect to your role in line with with policies and procedures.
- Be compliant with Data Protection.
- Be able to work on your own initiative, having an ability to prioritize effectively and set achievable timescales.

It is important to note that this list is not exhaustive and you may be required to undertake further duties to meet the expectations of the role.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
