You will work alongside the existing Supervisors to optimise and prioritise the throughput of work as well as undertaking appraisals, training and recruitment of staff.

It is expected that you will be flexible and if required work in the Community Diagnostic Centres which run from 7am to 7pm 7 days a week.

This role involves working at both our main sites Royal Derby/Florence Nightingale. You will take an active part in the Phlebotomy service with particular responsibility for the supervision of staff and assisting in the allocation of phlebotomy staff to wards, GPs, Community Hospitals and clinics ensuring an efficient and effective use of staff.

The role involves working on a 4 week rota basis which includes working 1 in 4 weekends. You must be a car user and have business insurance as you may be required to drive throughout Derbyshire.
