Qualified Social Worker (QSW) - Children services £38 - £42 per hour
**Your new company**
West Sussex County Council is looking to welcome experienced qualified social workers to join their teams in safeguarding looked after children across the county.
**Your new role**
You will join a local authority based in West Sussex as a social worker working in a fast-paced, supportive team. You will focus on outcomes-based care planning for children. You will work with young children and teenagers to support them to achieve and planto build their lives as young adults ready to leave care and live independently. Positions available in: Bognor, Worthing, and Horsham
**What you'll need to succeed**
- You will need to have completed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) and be registered with Social Work England.
- 2+ years' experience post qualification
- Safeguarding knowledge and knowledge
- Communicate skilfully and engage in complex and high-risk situations
- Identify, attain, and maintain high levels of practice.
- High level working knowledge of relevant legislation and policies and procedures
- Commitment to equal opportunities and valuing diversity
