We're searching for a Head of Product / Senior Banking Product Manager / Product Lead Consumer Banking to join a pre-IPO specialist retail financial institution. Founded over 50 years ago, they're an established & respected brand. They continue to empowertheir retail and business customers by serving best-in-class digital financial services.
You will hit the ground running, working in a fast-paced environment agile environment. It's a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to build & grow a small team. You'll enhance existing products, improve functionality and build new components.
This is a hybrid role based in London (zone 1) going into the office 3 days per week.
The Head of Product / Senior Banking Product Manager / Product Lead Consumer Banking will:

- Be responsible for the development & management of the Private Banking, SME, UK resident & international digital account product range over the full product lifecycle
- Be accountable for delivery of the current account balanced scorecard
- Be the voice of the customer across all touchpoints in their journey, working to understand their needs & improve customer experience
- Take the lead with commercial performance & P&L
- Ensure all products are legally compliant (this is an FCA Certified role)
- Set the product strategy & roadmap for the current account portfolio
- Own the end-to-end digital product journey, driving the digital experience from onboarding to servicing to subscription purchase and utilisation
- Own the accurate forecasting and delivery of all financial metrics
- Recommend and implement pricing changes to reflect desired market position, margin, fee income, balances and costs
- Collaborates with the operations team to ensure delivery and optimisation of all operational forecasting, processes, systems, infrastructure and resources
- Identifies, validates, owns business case and sets clear requirements for strategic and tactical product changes/launches to drive growth, profitability and optimise costs
- Previous experience as a Product Manager with UK retail/business current account banking products/services.
- Experience in a regulated financial services environment
- Strong digital product development and distribution experience
- Demonstrable customer focus
- Demonstrable digital capability
- Commercially astute and articulate
- Up-to-date understanding of regulatory environment
