The exceptional team at Rosewood Manor is currently looking for a **Cook** to support them on a full-time, permanent basis. Rosewood Manor is an elegant and classy 70-bed home situated in the idyllic market town of Market Harborough, purposefully built for its residents (equipped with its very own gin bar) providing residential and specialist dementia care.

Providing residential and specialist dementia care to their residents, your primary focus will be to blow their tastebuds by preparing meals that are delicious, comforting and prepared fabulously.

**What you will receive as a Cook;**
- **£10.77 per hour**:

- **Full time, permanent **contract
- **29.75 hours **per week on a 6-weekly rolling rota
- Working 4 or 5 days in every 7
- Based in **Market Harborough, LE16 9BZ**

**What you will be doing as a Cook;**
- Plan, prepare and cook a variety of meals that are appealing, nutritious and individual to the resident’s likes and dislikes
- Assist in the planning of menus and ordering of food within set budget parameters
- Prepare home-baked goods for tea and celebrations
- Be aware at all times, of the Residents’ dietary needs and preferences
- Ensure food is prepared and stored following guidelines from the Environmental Health Department
- Maintaining food stocks and reordering where needed
- Actively engage with residents in conversation and meaningful activities related to their lifestyle choices
- Participate in the cleaning program of the kitchen to ensure that all appliances and the kitchen environment are kept hygienic and clean

**What you will need to be successful as a Cook;**
- Previous experience of catering for a minimum of 25 covers

- Have caring, calm and compassionate nature, with the ability to communicate with others on various levels
