**Unqualified Apprenticeships Tutor - Level 3 Teaching Assistant Standard**:

- **Remote / Home Based within Kent, Full-time (37.5 hrs, Mon-Fri), Permanent.**

We are recruiting a full time unquaified Tutor, applicants must have experience of working within the education sector, including school / Teaching Assistant experience.

**Job description**

To learn to carry out all Tutor duties and responsibilities including teaching, learning and assessment of work-based learners completing apprenticeship standards and, on occasion, additional qualifications to enable them to achieve their end point assessment.

The post holder would be required to use their professional knowledge and existing skill set to support vocational and professional development of learners across various education-based apprenticeships, initially delivering the Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship, with potential to deliver other programmes once qualified. The work-based learning will be assessed remotely for the most part, with some on site visits across Kent required. Alongside your on the job training you will be required to undertake a recognised teaching qualification. We would expect this to take between 6-9 months to complete.

In addition to supporting your learners and employers throughout the programme, you will be required to carry out and ensure adherence to legal requirements for Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety, Data Protection for all settings. This also involves making learners aware of their obligations as employees.

*Computer literacy is essential and experience of using Microsoft Teams would be an advantage.

**Salary £20-22k, dependent on experience**

The role requires that all post holders:

- Have their own vehicle and hold a full driver’s licence.
- Hold Business travel insurance.
- Are prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
- Have reliable home internet connection.
- Must be flexible in terms of working hours to meet learner’s assessment needs, as some learners work shifts.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
