Our staff training & development plays an increasingly important part of our business, and as a result of continued growth, we now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Trainer to join our Debt Recovery department.

Working alongside the Head of Debt Services & the Debt Recovery Managers, you will identify, design, develop, and deliver training material and training workshops based on the needs of the business and the individuals working in it.

Reporting to the Head of Debts Services.

This is a full time permanent position, based at our head office in Derby but with travel to other sites where necessary.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify training and development needs within the debt services division of Flint Bishop through reviewing quality assessments, 121’s and regular consultation with the operational leadership team.
- Design training and development programs based on the needs of the business and the individuals working in it.
- Develop an effective induction programs for all new staff, monitor and review the progress of new staff through their induction program and initial training through to ‘sign-off’ of competence in role
- Devise individual learning plans for colleagues and monitor progress
- Produce training materials for in-house courses
- Create and/or deliver a range of training using classroom and online learning
- Manage the delivery of training and development programs and evaluate the effectiveness of training and development programs, amend and revise programs as necessary, to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment
- Support line managers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
- Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and present this research. Devise a training strategy for the organisation
- Work closely with and influence senior leaders and stakeholders.

**Skills, Knowledge & Expertise**:
You will:

- Have at least 12 months of experience in a training role preferably in Collections/Debt Recovery/Customer Service department.
- Be able to design, develop and deliver a range of training material to meet the needs of the employees and the firm.
- Be an adept problem solver.
- Be an excellent communicator.
- Ideally have training or learning & development experience within the professional services sector.
- Disclosure will be required in the event that a position is offered._
