**Finance Assistant**

Morgan Hunt is recruiting for a Finance Assistant within an Education Organisation based in Greater Manchester, Wigan. This is a temporary role paying 112 to 129 per day, office based with some flexibility. This is a great opportunity to work within the public sector for 3 months initially, with a chance of extension.

As a Finance Assistant you will be reporting to the Head of Finance, focusing on Grant submissions and updating the fixed asset register. You will assist with the Finance department's needs and the team.

**Main responsibilities of a Finance Assistant**:

- Completing Grant Submissions
- Updating Asset Register
- Chasing outstanding invoices
- Assisting with production of management accounts
- Inputting and processing orders

**As a Finance Assistant, it would be ideal if you have**:

- Experience in Sage Accounting
- Experience in grant submissions (Essential)
- Worked with Fixed Assets (Essential)
- ParentPay systems
- Part Qualified or AAT qualified
