Showforce are currently growing and we are therefore looking to recruit the position of Operations Coordinator to join our team in Liverpool City Centre.

The Operations coordinator will play an integral role within a busy operational department. The role would be perfect for anyone looking to work within the events sector, or a person who has experience in administration and/or logistics and planning.

**Requirements**:
**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Manage incoming enquires from quotation, scheduling of staff and completion of project
- Plan and allocate resources for future projects identifying potential issues or shortfalls in a timely manner
- Play an active role in the recruitment process, highlighting any shortfall in staff and working with our in-house recruitment team to onboard new crew
- Ensure all project information is communicated to all team members and job briefs are sent to staff
- Carry out regular site visits to understand the clients' requirements
- Operational support including coordinating transport and logistics for jobs across the UK and Europe
- Problem-solving and rescheduling as project changes require additional resources
- Maintain an overall knowledge of the crew skill sets and ensure database is kept up to date
- Ensuring accreditation for events is complete
- Take ownership of special projects and coordinate from start to finish
- Attend relevant trade exhibitions, networking events and training
- emergency out of hours cover required
- The ability to work in high demand, fast paced environment
- Sound project planning skills
- Effective Customer Service Skills
- Attention to details, both verbal and written
- Mist be able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Excellent computer skills in all MS packages and the ability to learn new software skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, anticipating problems before they arise to prevent them happening where possible
- Responsive and flexible to ever-changing needs and demands
- Ability to manage a busy workload with high productivity
- Ability to stay calm whilst working under pressure
