**Salary**: £21,736.00 _(£11.00 hourly)_
**+ Sleep in Rate**: £40.00
**+ On-Call**:£15.00
**Hours**: 38 Hours weekly
We are looking for a passionate, caring, and devoted individual to join our team, working with care leavers (aged 16-24). MoCoCo House is a well-established supported accommodation service, which prides itself on developing its staff to achieve their potential, in order to offer the best service to our Young People.
This position is a great opportunity for those who are already in the social care field, or for those who are wanting to start a new career and develop.

**Shifts**:You will be required to work on a regular shift pattern, which includes sleep in shifts and day/evening shifts, which can be explained in more detail at the interview stage. You will be required to work some weekends as part of the role, however, staff are given regular weekends off.
**Who we are**:
MoCoCo House is supported accommodation for young people aged 16-24 and aims to support Young People from all different backgrounds, cultures, and circumstances. We offer a bespoke service to a diverse group of care leavers including those leaving residential or foster care settings, those transitioning from a family home, unaccompanied asylum seekers, and mother and baby placements.
MoCoCo House is a subsidiary of Middlewich Community Church.
**Key Responsibilities**:
The purpose of the role is to be responsible in providing help, support and encouragement to young people aged 16-24, to take control of their life and promote independent living.
- **Keyworking Responsibilities**: Working with young people on a 1-1 basis, supporting them with their daily lives, keeping records of achievements, liaising with key professionals, and supporting service users to complete independence modules.
- **Admin Duties**: Keeping and maintaining service user records through our computer system, as well as completing office duties and day to day tasks.

**Requirements**:
- Flexible working.

- Ability to accurately report, record and maintain records.
- Enthusiasm to undertake further training.
Previous experience within a social care setting and NVQ qualifications in Health and Social Care would be advantageous, but not essential.
Due to the nature of the role and transporting our young people, it is desirable for you to hold a full UK driving license.
Successful applicants will require satisfactory references and an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS.)
