**IT Technician across 4 Sites**

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

**Salary**: £24,496-£26,845
Working hours: 37 Hours
**Onsite, Permanent, Full-Time**

**Requirements for this role**:

- DBS Cleared or eligibility to get DBS clearance
- Driver's license

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Procure, install and manage and office software as needed.
- Procure, install and manage and office hardware as needed.
- Procure IT consumables in a timely manner to avoid temporary loss of IT facilities such as printers and copiers.
- Ensure effective value-for-money when procuring IT resources, in conjunction with Central IT Team.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT resources.
- Ensure the reliable and high-quality delivery of IT systems to support.
- Undertake regular audits of software and hardware
- Ensure that copyright, data protection and licensing regulations are upheld at all times.
- Provide training to staff as and when needed to ensure the safe and effective use of software and hardware.
- Managing the Software and Hardware

**Skills and Knowledge**:

- Ability to manage IT network - including backup and recovery of data.
- Ability to liaise with external stakeholders to provide effective IT support.
- Ability to promote the safe and secure use of the internet.
- Ability to deliver IT training to small groups of staff.
- Ability to deliver enrichment activities to small groups of learners.

**Managing the IT Network**:

- Ensure regular back-up of data and efficient recovery of lost data when needed.
- Develop and ensure delivery of an 'IT Disaster Recovery Plan'.
- Undertake regular audits and housekeeping to ensure that network storage capacity is managed effectively.
- Add/delete staff from the network as needed and appropriate.
- Implement IT Security and Acceptable Use policies.
- Maintain and upgrade the IT network as and when needed.
- Manage the allocation of printer credits and access rights as required, in accordance with the comapny policy
- Liaise with the Central IT Team to ensure the effectiveness of IT services at company.
- Liaise with external stakeholders (Local Authority) to maintain the effectiveness of the IT network.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 A*- Cs at GCSE including English and Maths
- Qualification or training related to IT Technician role
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
