Electricity North West has an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and experienced LV Dispatcher to join our inclusive team. This full-time LV Dispatcher role is based in Manchester and offers a salary of up to £36,310.32 per year alongside some and excellent benefits.

As an LV Dispatcher, you will carry out live updates of interruptions and potential hazards to the distribution network and coordinate the repairs and subsequent reporting of these activities. You will actively manage LV fault inferencing to ensure appropriate staff and job priorities are being managed in accordance with company policy in line with guaranteed standards and Code of Practice 601.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

- Be responsible for all resources (personal and equipment) making sure that they are dispatched appropriately and that the systems are adequately updated to understand resource assignment within the assigned patch
- Collate information from systems and staff to enable provisions of regulatory and internal network performance reports
- Coordinate and control the flow of information between field staff, the customer contact centre, and the end customer

To succeed in this role, you will need to be results-focused and able to deliver results. You will also require the following:

- Excellent IT/Keyboard skills
- Interpretation of electricity diagrams (desirable)
- The ability to plan your own workload
- The ability to react quickly on a day-to-day basis.

This role is based on 37 hours per week and the shift pattern will be:

- Morning shift 07:00 - 14:30

Afternoon Shift 14:15 - 21:30

There will also be some weekend working:

- Weekends 07:00 - 19:15 (based on a 5 week rota)
