The Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) is based in the Bristol Haematology & Oncology Centre (BHOC), part of the Bristol Cancer Institute & the Bristol Haematology Unit. CTU is integral to the (BHOC’s) specialist NHS service provided to patients; offering a treatment option as part of a clinical trial.

The unit has a substantial cancer clinical trial portfolio of over 200 studies, spanning all tumour types, ranging from first-in-man, phases 1-3, delivered within BHOC and local partner/collaborating trusts. The CTU has a patient intake spanning the South West of England, creating a sustainable network for cancer trial delivery including setting up multi-centre trials throughout the UK with BHOC as the lead centre.

The Research Team is looking for someone who is highly motivated and passionate about clinical research to join us. You will be working with a variety of research professionals in a friendly, supportive environment and will be involved in all aspects of the study co-ordination of treatment trials involving chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

- Manage all aspects of trial co-ordination as an integrated member of the clinical research team
- Support the safe conduct of research to provide assurance that the rights, safety and wellbeing of research participants are protected
- Need excellent IT and literacy skills, operational flexibility and have a have a keen eye for detail

The role will be based in the Clinical Trials Unit (CTU), Bristol Haematology & Oncology Centre (BHOC).
