**About the role and our team**

Join our team within The Department of Education, Sport and Culture as a Senior Healthy4Life Officer

This is a great opportunity to join the Physical Activity and Wellbeing Team at the National Sports Centre (NSC), where you will manage and deliver the Healthy4Life (H4L) and Activ4Health (A4H) referral schemes, reporting to the Physical Activity and Wellbeing Manager.

Day to day, your responsibilities will include:

- Producing monthly reports aligned to outcome targets set by the Physical Activity and Wellbeing Manager
- Arranging appointments, meeting service users face to face and taking individual and group inductions
- When needed, support the delivery of the NSC Class Programmes and Activ8 Schemes
- Identifying additional and new activities that will assist and help service users maximise their free 8 week period, e.g. gym drop in sessions, lifestyle workshops and H4L Classes

**Additional information**

Please note an enhanced police check is required for this post, which the Department will cover the cost of for you. Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.

A full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required for this role. A uniform will also be provided.

A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
