Do you have experience leading a team and a Level 3 Qualification in Health & Social Care? If so, MG Supported living wants to hear from you.

MG Supported Living provides a supported housing service with 24-7 staffing support and a range of accommodation, care and support services for young people from step-down care between the age of 16 to 25 with basic, enhanced and complex needs to support their transition into adulthood and independent living.

With plans of expansion, we are seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee and assist the day to day running of the service, whilst working closely with the Service Manager to ensure that the highest quality of care is being provided.

**About The Role**:

- To be responsible for overseeing a team of Support Workers, communicating regularly and ensuring a safe environment for staff and service users.
- In the absence of the Service Manager, to have primary responsibility for the effective rostering and deployment of staff, to ensure that any staff shortfalls are identified and covered.
- To remain vigilant and do everything possible to safeguard people who use our services
- To work towards the development of MG Group, being an ambassador for the company promoting its’ services and exploring new ways to encourage growth.
- To work in compliance with company regulations and ensure that all core support outcomes are being achieved and regularly updated on company tracking system.
- To liaise and co-operate with local authorities when required.
- To motivate and empower the team to provide the highest quality service.
- To undertake, as and when required, any additional tasks and responsibilities as are reasonably compatible with this job description and its objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Enhanced DBS check (Essential) and register on Update Service.
- Previous team leader experience.
- Educated to a good standard, including GSCE or equivalent in English.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care would be ideal.
- Eligibility to work in the UK without a work permit or visa restrictions.
- Ofsted experience
