Be responsible for control and delivery of project requirements throughout the Group within the overall WCS Group Integration and Change Programme. Reporting to the Head of IT, the role will be required to work with all stakeholders across Group to develop and manage the delivery of Project manage Office governance and processes that support the WCS Group Strategy and Target Operating Model.

The projects that the **PMO Assistant** will be involved in will vary over time, and include, but are not limited to: the integration of new acquisitions, the deployment of new technology or technology-enabled processes, restructuring of Group estate, delivery of projects covering key areas including HSEQ, Training, HR, Finance and Service Delivery.

**Requirements**:

- Review and document Board Packs across Group to be aligned to the IT Roadmap
- Deliver clear and concise Governance for Project Managers to enable delivery for the IT roadmap
- Analyse Change Programme to understand the constraints and provide clear updates of areas of constraint to Head of IT
- Support Process mapping clearly the requirements for the Data migrations
- To document clear and concise requirements that can be shared with our 3rd parties for them to be able to deliver what is required
- Keep all processes up to date and work with the business on changes to processes
- Be on point for Acquisitions to assist with minute and reporting to WCS Group
- Ownership of Change Board pack and Programme Plan
- Travel to additional company office locations as required

**Person Specification**:
**Experience**
- Have experience of working within a busy Project or Programme environment
- Ideally to have experience of delivering Reporting to a Senior Team in a change environment
- Ideally to have worked in, or understand, the Water industry
- Experience of building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders

**Skills and Competences**
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills working with Senior Leaders, Project Sponsors and 3rd Party suppliers
- Highly computer-literate: confident, proactive, and possessing, at a minimum, intermediate skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Visio and Powerpoint; a working or better knowledge of Sharepoint would be an advantage
- Ability to extract and analyse data to produce clear, concise processes and reports
- Excellent written and communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels and to be able to write formal reports
- Ability to operate independently, under own initiative within the bounds of the wider Programme and Integration framework
- Proven leadership skills demonstrating ability in developing and delivering effective collaborative working procedures
- Some travel to different UK sites (very occasional overnight)

**Qualifications**

**Essential**

Minimum 2 years working in a Programme/ busy Project environment or equivalent

Demonstrable intermediate + MS Office skills

Demonstrable high level of written and oral English skills

Evidence of professional, technical and personal development

**Highly Desirable**

Demonstrable experience of working on or delivering process mapping and analysis during a project lifecycle
