I am currently recruiting for a Procurement Locum to work at Hampshire County Council.

The Commercial Contracts and Procurement team is a supportive unit which provides a wide range of advice to both internal and external clients. Taking on tasks that are as challenging as they are rewarding, our people advise on complex large-scale projectsthat enable clients to achieve their ambitious targets.
As a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, Legal Executive or equivalent, you will have relevant experience in the area of commercial contracts and procurement law with particular recent relevant experience of social care contracts (including but limited to adult,children and public health social care). You will have experience and a thorough working knowledge of commercial contracts, procurement, joint working and company law. We are looking for a lawyer who is able to demonstrate: good legal skills and judgement;a pragmatic solution focused approach; strong client relationship and communication skills; an ability to work in a team with a collaborative approach; and, an ability to prioritise effectively and to work independently to meet deadlines.

In this role you will provide high quality legal advice to both internal and external clients, advising on both routine and complex legal matters. As a member of the team, you will share your expertise, encourage the professional development of other teammembers and promote a commercially-minded culture in which opportunities will be explored.

The Commercial Contracts and Procurement team is a well-respected, supportive and friendly team, with the remit of providing commercial advice relating to contracts, procurement's, shared and traded service models and company secretarial services.
