ECT Teachers needed for Wigan based Primary Schools
**Your new company**
Have you struggled to gain work and experience in education despite finishing your PGCE or training course? Finding a first fixed post can be hard, however we're here to help you gain your next strides into the field of education, whether that be with day today roles to gain more experience and flexibility or short/long-term roles to provide that consistency.
Hays work with a range of schools across Wigan and the surrounding areas that are looking for an ECT/NQT to start as soon as possible. Supply teaching can help to promote you in the Wigan area, you can build up your relationships with local schools and helpsto guide your preferences moving forward.
**Your new role**
As an ECT/NQT you will be working with a number of primary schools across various areas within Wigan. The jobs we offer will require you to have previous relevant experience and you may be expected to follow lesson plans and deliver. We can offer you day today positions and short-term contracts as well as long term positions which can last more than a term and could lead to permanent employment. Upon permanent appointment you will have great support through your school's CPD and be given a reduced timetableto help manage your workload. This will place you in an excellent position to continue to develop as a teacher.
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be a successful in securing this position, hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You should be enthusiastic, approachable and be able to hit the ground running. Good knowledge of EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum.
