A manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Production Planner to be responsible for the planning and coordination of production to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. You will have a strong production planning background within a manufacturingenvironment and previous experience of using SAP.

As a Production Planner your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.
- Reporting into the Production Manager you'll coordinate production work flow for one or multiple products and assets.
- Manage MRP Messages in line with the SAP MRP System.
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
- Schedule shift according to production needs.
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within labour KPIs.
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
- Help with reallocations of customer returns/cancelled orders.
- Manage/Review safety stock levels and deal with Lead Time request from Sales Channels.

An exciting opportunity for a Production Planner with the following.
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of production scheduling/ Production planning.
- Confident in manage stock levels and allocation of materials to production.
- Confident user of SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Positive thinking and self-motivated individual with good communication skills.
