Mixroom Operative

We have an excellent opportunity to join our highly respected local client in the role of Mixroom Operative and Separator.

Job description: You will be reporting to the Mix and separation line leader and your primary task is the production of the bulk mixes that will be packed in other areas of the factory and separation of the raw milk into cream and skimmed milk. You will also have to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
- Produce bulk mixes of yoghurt and ice cream to a provided recipe.
- Send and set bulk mixes.
- Maintain excellent hygiene standards within the work area.
- Have a high standard of personal hygiene.
- Clean bulk tanks and sending machinery

Shifts average 8 hours, 40 hours a week. There are 3 shifts, 07.00-15.30, 10.00-18.30, 14.00-22.30. These shifts are on a rolling rota split between 4 members of the team. The shift rota involves working every other Sunday with the Friday before off.
