The post is part-time, 0.5 WTE Band 6 and is open experienced healthcare chaplains from all faith and belief groups.
You will play a full part alongside colleagues in promoting and delivering the work of the team. This will require the ability to provide effective spiritual care to people outside of their own tradition, both within the Trust and elsewhere, on request. Additionally they will participate in the 24 hour on-call rota operated by the department throughout the year. This will involve some overnight and weekend working.
The department currently delivers pastoral and spiritual care in the acute settinganda variety of community settings. The successful applicant will play a full part in supporting all aspects of the on-going work of the team.

To work within an Ecumenical, Multi-Faith/Belief Health Care Chaplaincy Team, comprising both ordained and lay, to provide a flexible and responsive service of, spiritual, pastoral, emotional cultural and/or religious care to patients, relatives, carers, staff and visitors to the Trust.
