Swim Instructor

**About us**

Turtle Splash Swim School is a small business in Downham Market. We are professional, agile, professional, and our goal is to provide high quality swimming lessons at affordable prices. We are looking for either a level 1 or level 2 swim teacher on a self employed basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct swim lessons for individuals or groups of ages between 1 - 12 years
- Create and implement lesson plans based on participants' needs and goals
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for swimmers
- Teach proper swimming techniques, including strokes, breathing, and water safety
- Monitor and evaluate swimmers' progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and any incidents that occur during lessons
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding swimmers' progress and any concerns

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in sports coaching or swim instruction is preferred
- Knowledge of different swimming techniques and teaching methods
- Ability to educate and motivate swimmers of all ages and skill levels
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with participants and their families
- Strong organizational skills to plan lessons and track participants' progress

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
