We are currently recruiting for a Full time, permanent Air Consultant here at NST Travel Group

**The role**

You will be responsible for the delivery of air services (Quotes, Bookings, Amendments, etc) to the PGL Group. This will involve liaising with suppliers and agents externally, and Sales and Tour Consultants internally to ensure transport elements are quoted, reserved and delivered within agreed service levels / expectations and within budget.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Liaise with Airlines and other transport providers to secure airline reservations and coordinate passenger or flight amendments on behalf of the PGL group.
- Build and maintain an awareness of the Air Market to ensure the business can capitalise on opportunities and minimise disruption to customers as a result of changes in the marketplace.

**The role will cover**:

- Process flight quote requests, providing internal customers with solutions to meet customer needs within agreed timeframes and service levels.
- Ensure requests for flight bookings are processed within agreed timeframes and service levels to ensure the best price on flights to the business.
- Ensure amendments to existing bookings, where required, are processed in a timely manner to minimise associated costs.
- Ensure Sales and Operations teams are advised of all status expirations related to flight quotes / reservations in a timely manner to support commercial decision making
- Use knowledge and experience of the air market to provide commercially estimated quotes for airlines currently not on sale
- Communicate, as appropriate, any instances where flight bookings are inconsistent with Tour costings & support the Sales and Operations team to source a suitable solution.
- Ensure internal systems are updated accurately with details of all flight reservations
- Ensure all relevant information (passenger lists etc) is detailed to the Airlines in a timely manner
- Co-ordinate airline booking information via Amadeus (queue management)
