Trainee Transport Planner

SPARKS TRANSPORT has been in business since 1933. We operate 300 Trucks and Trailers operating 7 days a week on a National basis.

We are looking for a young and enthusiastic person who would like to enter the **Great Industry of Transport.**

We are looking for a person that has the following Knowledge and Skill set:
Geography (Towns / Areas of the UK)

Computer Literate

Ability to talk and listen to others

Basic Maths (Calculating delivery / collection times)

In return we have the ability to train you in all aspects of the Transport office to include

Debriefing Drivers (making sure the driver has returned all necessary paperwork whilst they have been working)

Entering Data onto the Transport Management system (this then gets relayed to the Drivers)

Checking the progress of the Drivers Day (Telephone and Computer Systems)

The Base Rules and Regulations of the Transport Industry.

The Goal is for you to become a Transport Planner. To Plan and Execute routes for our drivers, to make sure our Customers products are collected and delivered on time anywhere in the U.K.
