**Responsibilities**:

- ** Employee Relations**: Serve as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related issues, and ensuring a positive and harmonious workplace.
- **Recruitment**: Assist in the recruitment process by participating in interviews, conducting pre-employment checks, and collaborating with hiring managers to identify top talent.
- **Onboarding**: Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new employees feel welcomed and prepared for their roles.
- **HR Policies**: Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to align with current laws and industry best practices.
- **Performance Management**: Support performance appraisal processes, provide coaching to managers, and assist in implementing development plans.
- **Training and Development**: Identify training needs, organise training sessions, and facilitate employee development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- **Benefits and Compensation**: Administer and manage employee benefits and compensation packages, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with regulations.
- **Conflict Resolution**: Handle employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters in a professional and fair manner.
- **Compliance**: Ensure adherence to legal requirements and regulations related to employment, safety, and HR practices within the food manufacturing industry.

**The Successful Applicant**:
**The ideal HR Advisor**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. HR certification is desirable.
- Proven experience in an HR advisory role, preferably within a food manufacturing or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
