Loler Inspection Planner

We are currently recruiting for a two LOLER Inspection Planners to join our team at our Cosby depot.
As LOLER Inspection Planner you will be responsible to plan, coordinate, and facilitate LOLER inspections to ensure that both depot and on hire fleet inspections are completed prior to the expiry date. To support daily activity of Supervising LOLER inspectors and LOLER inspectors. To manage relationship with NWP approved 3rd party suppliers for LOLER inspections.
In return you will receive a salary up to £32,000 based on experience, 25 days annual leave plus great benefits, Westfield Health Cash Plan, Life Assurance, Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme & Lifestyle Benefits - Discounted High Street Store.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan LOLER inspections, considering LOLER inspectors workload capacity, due dates of the equipment, geography and other elements to ensure equipment is inspected before the expiration dates.
- Ensure business compliance with regards to LOLER regulations, using business tools and processes.
- Ensure all the data and inspections’ details are recorded accurately.
- Communicate with customers with regards to LOLER inspections / site visits.
- Maintain regular communication with NWP approved suppliers to build an effective working relationship.
- Manage external supplier providers of sub-contracted engineering services and equipment manufacturers, including invoice resolutions.
- Contribute and attend when necessary, supplier / KPIs/ relationship meetings.
- Good understanding of UK geography
- Understanding of planning and resourcing activities
- Credible communicator, oral and written.
- Ability to work on their own initiative, and as part of team.
- Ability to be proactive and prioritise the day-to-day activity in accordance with the set targets, business and customer requirements
- Good upward and downward communication skills and an ability to navigate the organisation to gain the best result.
- Pragmatic approach coupled with an understanding of commercial and operational issues.
- Excellent IT skills - Excel, E-mail and internal systems
- Good time management skills
- LOLER regulations and/or powered access industry knowledge would be an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
