We have an established and ambitious English curriculum in place and are proud of the success we had at KS2 last year. We are looking for someone who has the vision to build on this success and take it to the next level. The post will initially include 2 days of teaching, leaving 3 days to work alongside other practitioners to strategically and dynamically develop teaching and learning in English across the school. Some existing knowledge of Talk 4 Writing and Read Write Inc principles are desirable. A whole-hearted commitment making a real difference to the day to day lives and future life chances of our pupils is essential.
We are a large three form entry school with low staff turnover, and we are committed to distributive leadership. Every member of staff is supported to professionally grow, with CPD focusing on people’s individual talents, interests and areas for further development. The ethos of striving to be the best we can be, whether child or staff member, is what we aim for.
