Job Description:

As a Removal Porter at Pickup Moving & Storage, you'll be an integral part of the moving process, ensuring that our clients' belongings are handled with care and professionalism. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Loading and Unloading**: Safely loading and unloading household or office items onto and off of trucks, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent damage.
- **Transportation**: Assisting with the transportation of items between locations, driving trucks or vans as necessary to ensure timely delivery.
- **Packing and Unpacking**: Skillfully packing items into boxes and containers, taking care to properly wrap and protect fragile items, and unpacking them upon arrival at the destination.
- **Furniture Assembly/Disassembly**: Expertly disassembling and reassembling furniture and other large items as needed, ensuring they are transported and set up without incident.
- **Customer Service**: Providing friendly and professional customer service throughout the moving process, addressing any questions or concerns clients may have and ensuring their satisfaction.
- **Teamwork**: Collaborating with fellow team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring items are packed, transported, and unpacked safely.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach to service delivery.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for driving duties).
- Prior experience in the moving or transportation industry is advantageous but not required.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £8.56-£11.18 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 40 per week
