You will provide the day-to-day HR functions of the organisation and maintain the HR system.

You will also support the Executive Board of Trustees and Chief Executive Officer in the provision of organisational governance.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- support Managers to follow ihAg policy and procedures in relation to recruitment, supervision, appraisal, capability, frequent absence, disciplinary, as required
- support staff at all levels with the information they require in relation to HR queries and concerns
- work alongside the Finance Officer to ensure the correct staffing information is available for monthly payroll
- maintain timely, accurate and up-to-date HR records, using the current HR system
- maintain the Charities Commission and Companies House information relating to ihAg
- act as first point of contact for all trustees
- attend Executive Board Meetings, and take accurate minutes and actions
- participate in appropriate training/meetings/consultations/surveys
- any other duties as identified by the Line Manager
- safeguard and promote the welfare of people with additional vulnerabilities.

**You will need**:

- to be a “people-person” with excellent communication skills written and oral communication, including the ability to take accurate minutes
- to be highly organised
- the ability to interpret and disseminate information to staff at all levels of the organisation.

ihAg is a busy local charity supporting people who are at risk of, or are experiencing, homelessness. Our Central Team provide essential business support function to the organisation, to ensure the effective and efficient provision of services.

ihAg is a leading provider of services for people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
