**Treelands Care Home - Handsale Ltd**:Situated in Oldham this purpose-built 80-bed care home offers residential and nursing care for the frail, elderly and mentally infirm, in addition to respite and convalescent care. We care for people those with Dementia, Mental Health Condition, Old Age, Physical Disability, Sensory Impairment, and Younger Adults.

**Responsibilities**:
We are actively hiring for professional and experienced Residential Lead for Treelands Nursing Home.

This role is
**44 hrs /week over 5 days. **This role requires
** 22hrs on the floor & 22hrs supernumerary.** Need to be flexible.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working alongside the Home Manager and Clinical Lead as part of the management team
- maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- To help in staff management
- Devising Rotas
- Delivering Training
- To take part in Audits
- Supporting the QA Systems
- Involvement in recruitment
- Manage team supervisions and assist in appraisals
- Inducting new staffs
- Administering medication
- Devising and completing action plans
- Devising Care plans and Risk Assessments
- Dealing with all professionals ie GP, Nurses, Social workers etc
- Taking On
- Call on rota basis.
- Ensuring tasks are completed.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Required**:

- Senior Carer experience in a Care Home
- First Aid
- Basic clinical knowledge
- NVQ qualification level 3 in social care
- Satisfactory DBS check and check against the POVA List (where applicable)

**Desired**:

- Care for the Elderly experience / qualification
- Previous supervisory experience
