Short Order Cook

Main duties and responsibilities are;
Be available to work 12 to 20 hours per week
- Cooking to order simple meals from menu. Responsible for maintaining a high standard of service and meal quality.
- Ensure Health and Safety, due diligence procedures and standards are adhered to and maintained within the kitchen and amongst kitchen staff. To be responsible for all required record keeping with in the kitchen.
- To check stock levels and deliveries whilst keeping manager aware of shortages.
- Cleaning and clearing tables. Cleaning down kitchen at the end of service.
- Directing and managing staff
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Cash handling

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.50 per hour

- Day shift
- Holidays
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cambs, PE14 7QJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
