**Job Description**:
Role - Foundry Operative (Sand Moulding and Casting).
This role is responsible for organising patterns, making sand moulds, mould casting and general works in the foundry. Please refer to a complete list of responsibilities over page.

Responsibility Activity Description
Locating and organising patterns ready for each day based on order
Pattern Organisation priority.
Mould Making Use of patterns and sand mixers to create moulds.
Mould Casting Assist with pouring molten metal into sand moulds.
Foundry Operative Assist with the day to day running of the foundry itself.
Most products will need to be safely lifted onto the cutting table using
Crane Operation cranes or hoists.
Forklift Operation Products occasionally need to be transported via forklift.
Must adhere to company risk assessments and health and safety polices
Health and Safety at all times.
Housekeeping Must ensure work station is kept tidy and importantly safe.
There may be times where the wider production team require
Production assistance, this will be on an as needed basis.

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44.5 per week
