**Role Head of HR**
- Take responsibility for the development and management of the HR function to the highest standards.
- To be the HR lead on key projects and ensure that these are delivered in line with the project plan.
- To develop and maintain organisational policy and procedure in relation to HR.
- To provide leadership for the HR team, which includes payroll and recruitment.
- To ensure HR strategies on key areas such as Recruitment & Retention, Reward, Engagement, Employee Relations, and Equality & Diversity
- To ensure a current knowledge of Employment Law and other relevant legislation is maintained
- To lead, implement and take part in cross-organisational development projects.
- To lead on case management of any Employment Tribunals lodged.
- To ensure the organisation is legally compliant and protected within the areas of HR and that risks are appropriately identified and mitigated against.
- To ensure compliance and development of safeguarding frameworks including safer recruitment.
- Ensure the business operates in line with the CQC and/or Ofsted requirements.
- To effectively manage the HR resources and budgets.
- To guide and advise other senior and locality managers in the management of issues covering performance and conduct, absence, grievance, and complaints.

**Profile**
- CIPD Level 7 Qualified or equivalent suitable HR related experience
- CQC, Ofsted, Safer Recruitment experience
- Experience in leading a People Operation or HR function
- Experience of leading operational change programmes
- Previous experience of working closely with an Executive Board member (Desirable)
- Experienced in developing and delivering a HR strategy
- Understanding of change management processes and how to effectively implement change across an organisation with a diverse workforce
