This role will report directly to the Divisional Director supporting the full end-to-end administrative broking support. Transportation, Professional Indemnity and Casualty are the core areas of business.

The role is well rounded and will suit someone who wants the opportunity to deliver high quality broker administration alongside building client relationships and liaising with clients on behalf of the Divisional Director. The role sits in the special risksteam with brokers supporting clients across special risks including motorsport, cyber, extended warranty and waste and recycle management.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Support the Divisional Director to carry out the following**:

- Review and provide support for mid-term adjustments to existing policies
- Assist with policy renewals
- Assist with the preparation of placement and endorsement documentation
- Ensure receipt, monitor and actions monthly renewals list
- Visit Underwriters if anything needs signing at their office or Lloyds
- Handle special acceptances in the promptest of manner

**You will be responsible for**:

- Carrying out administrative tasks such as paperwork, correspondence, updating contacts and keeping details records on the online broking system
- Ensuring receipt of all monthly BDX
- Monitoring monthly renewals
- Registering quotes on IMPACT
- Creating slips and endorsements
- Ensuring all finance queries are answered in a timely manner
- Monitoring all work from Technical and ensure its returned and sent out in a timely manner
- Taking notes on all calls and circulate - highlight and complete all actions
- Complete Technical processing sheet. Send to Technical for debiting and diarise to chase in 48 hours;
- Preparing quotation and firm order documents - send to Underwriters for signing and approval. Send on to Client, together with wording with IPID
- Update written risk BDX on all accounts at placement or endorsement at the time of transaction
- Assist in gathering information from clients and preparation of initial needs documents to Brokers
- Attend Lloyds Market presentations and feedback the learning to colleagues and in your work;
- Assist with marketing and acquiring new clients and business
- Review and escalate all day to day enquiries when Brokers are travelling or on annual leave as necessary
- Help to manage and maintain key Client and Underwriter relationships
- Deal with new enquiries promptly referring the query to the appropriate person and logging in the system
- Build and maintain ongoing relationships with clients
- Assist Brokers when arranging insurance cover

**Key Skills & Experience**

The client is looking for someone who is confident in liaising on behalf of brokers and building strong relationships with underwriters and agents having excellent communication skills both written and verbal with good interpersonal skills including questioningand listening. They need to consistently be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, be a quick learner and able to quickly understand the products, market and varying client needs as well as being personable, friendly, polite and professionalwith a hardworking attitude.
