A rewarding **Chargehand Arborist** position is now available on a **Permanent**contract with **Doncaster Council.**

**What is the role?**

Doncaster Council are now looking to appoint an experienced Chargehand Arborist to lead a team of Arborists carrying out arboricultural works within the borough.

**How can you help?**
- Take responsibility for the delivery of day-to-day arboriculture operations across Doncaster, maintaining all on-site safety and meetings deadlines.
- Share good practice with colleagues and develop a team-based approach to all areas of work, seeking improvements to the service.
- Dealing directly with enquiries from customers, ensuring good relationships and maintaining a positive image of the Council.
- Record accurately all work completed and ensuring tasks are allocated appropriately.

**What experience do you need?**
- Arboricultural qualification at NVQ Level 2, or equivalent, and up to date certification in relevant chainsaw, climbing, aerial rescue and ground operations.
- Able to meet high level of physical aspects of the role and travel requirements.
- Significant experience of supervising a team within the arboricultural sector.
- Full driving licence, HGV and Tractor driving attachments.
