Staff365 are recruiting for a number of experienced production operatives for our customer based in Tankersley, Barnsley.

£11.55phr paid weekly

Training is provided in this factory and these positions are full time

Monday - Friday 14:00 - 22:00 with some overtime available. Pay rate: £11.55 per hour

These production operative vacancies are a 12 week temp - perm providing your attendance, attitude to work and overall performance is acceptable a full time contract with our client will be awarded.

Flexibility in terms of working and being trained in different areas of the factory is essential.

As a production operative, your duties are to include;
Working with another team member to lift doors onto a CNC machine to be cut to size.

Measuring and quality checking doors to ensure quality is maintained throughout the production process.

General housekeeping of the factory and tidying up between machine cycle times. e.g sweeping up, air hosing the work station and removal of rubbish.

Filling and sanding of any defects or imperfections with the door.

Preparing doors to be painted, including loading onto a sanding machine, masking them prior to be being painted and then quality checking after the paint process.

Once you have secured a contract with the company you are then able to be trained and work towards different Production Operator skill levels which enhance hourly pay rates, with the opportunity to become a senior production operator or even a production trainer.

Please note this job as a production operative requires you to be stood on your feet for up to 8 hours a day between break times and a strong level of fitness is required due to the nature of the product.
