We are looking for an experimental Postdoctoral Researcher to join the synthetic biology research group of Professor Patrick Cai in the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology and work closely with the Synthetic Genomics team at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute as well as with research groups at MRC LMB Cambridge and Imperial College London.

Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent in synthetic biology, genome engineering or yeast cell biology (or equivalent) for appointment at Research Associate level. Applicants close to completion of their PhDs will also be considered where experience is directly relevant.
