We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Assistant Treasurer to join our organisation.

This role will be reporting to the Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, the Assistant Treasurer - Global Operations will have global responsibility for Chart’s core treasury operations function, including bank account structure, trade finance, cash forecasting, and all treasury processes and controls. This role will be critical in integrating the legacy Chart and Howden banking structures and building a best-in-class treasury function.

Core Responsibilities:

- Responsible for strategy and execution of traditional cash management and treasury operations function across the business.
- Oversee bank account integration/realignment, building a world-class structure that maximizes efficiency of cash globally while minimizing cost and administrative efforts.
- Partner with local business units on all banking relationships and bank-related services.
- Manage global trade finance efforts, sourcing and maintaining lines of credit while becoming a trusted business partner to the commercial organization.
- Develop robust treasury processes and controls, ensure global adherence.
- Partner with FP&A to develop and maintain short-term cash flow forecasts.
- Work closely with tax to develop and execute cash repatriation strategies.
- Lead Treasury Management System integration/rationalization.
- Explore emerging technologies to enhance automation, improve visibility, and reduce administrative efforts.
- Perform treasury due diligence on all acquisitions and lead integration efforts related to banking and treasury processes.
- Serve as a key contact for external relationships, including banks, service providers, auditors, etc.
- Support Treasurer with ad-hoc projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- 12+ years of experience, with a minimum of 8 years of multi-national treasury operations experience.
- M.B.A. or other advanced degree in finance, economics, statistics or similar fields. CTP certification a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills, interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and presentation skills.
- In-depth understanding of treasury function and connectivity to key stakeholders such as accounting, tax, and legal.
- Ability to effectively influence leaders at all levels.
- Intellectual curiosity and desire to drive continuous improvement.
- Strong attention to detail, and a hands-on “roll up your sleeves” approach.
