Our dedicated Contingency insurance team within Gallagher Specialty are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic individual to join them as a Contingency Broker. This position is important for continuing our excellent client servicing of clients in the sports and music industry.

**Your Role**:

- Retain and nurture existing accounts relating to contingency for the sports and music industry
- Increase existing business by seeking new and additional exposures; recommending solutions, endorsing other products and maintaining relationships.
- Co-ordinate and attend strategy meetings prior to renewal, evaluate client / agent needs for new and existing contracts
- Inform clients/agents of risk management options and liaise with internal risk managers to increase our service offering
- Find and analyse client exposures to recommend risk transfers or suitable financing products for their needs.
- Recognise appropriate insurance carriers, send requests, negotiate favourable quotes and prepare recommendations
- Work with the technical operations function to ensure good credit control is maintained and bad debt is kept to a minimum

Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Cert CII/ Dip CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) **desirable,** and/or educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
- Confidence to advise and negotiate with clients using business insight, proven effective relationship and business partner management
- Highly organised with excellent, authentic communication skills for varying audiences, comfortable and credible at decision-maker level.
- Able to manage time and to work on a number of projects concurrently, comfortable when interpreting data with accuracy and present findings articulately
- Persistent and tenacious, proactive and keen to motivate others to achieve. Continually build and sustain a network managing relationships.
- Eligible to work in the UK
