My client, a long-standing family run business based on the outskirts of Newport are looking to recruit an experienced finance analyst to join their expanding team.

Reporting directly to the MD and working closely with a seasoned Financial Director, you will be required to work on a series of important projects they are undertaking. Working alongside a successful management team, you will identify improvements to systemsand processes in order for the organisation to achieve increased efficiency, improve operational costs.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Assisting the operations team with contract pricing, reviewing existing contracts and revenue streams in order to propose areas of improvement
- Proposing budgets and targets for the relevant departments and supporting the MD with KPI setting
- Drive initiatives for improving fuel, vehicle margins and managing compliance throughout the business
- Draw together quality data from managers across the business to understand their separate business units
- Provide financial information, interpretation, analysis and support to the team to improve their understanding of the information manipulated
- Work closely with the FD to plan for growth and acquisitions
- Propose budgets and milestones to allow for land and/or business acquisition
- Working with the Board to improve cash planning
- Supporting with Tax planning for business and individuals
