What we are recruiting for
Key Responsibilities:
- Build line manager capacity by pro-actively identifying and advising on various HR matters, and facilitating decisions based on best practice, whilst ensuring compliance with all Company procedures, policies and employment legislation
- Provide low level advice and guidance to line managers and employees on policy matters, and actively contributing to policy development. Supporting the Senior HRBP and the Group HR Director on a variety of employee relations activities, including investigations, disciplinary hearings and any other relevant ER related processes.
- Resource planning support, including liaising with the project teams on resourcing requirements in the different business areas.
- Manage a range of operational matters supporting mobilisation and demobilisation of projects and programmes
- Preparing reports and providing statistical recruitment data to support operational and strategic decisions
- Partnering and supporting the Senior HRBP and the Group HR Director with the delivery of the HR Business Plan and strategy
- Collaborating with the payroll team and employment benefit providers to respond to HR queries and deliver the best ideas and possible solutions for line managers
- Participation in HR related projects as and when required, including Wellbeing
Key Requirements
- Excellent administration and advisory skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with all site-based employee’s at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple changing priorities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex and technical information with clarity.
- Ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences including peers and superiors
- Strong ability to work flexibly, managing changing and competing priorities
- Highly adept in using MS Office programs, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Must be able to produce mail merge documents and design presentations from scratch
- Good working knowledge of HR best practice in relation to HR service, particularly contractual terms and conditions
This role’s contracted location will be Essex. You will be required to travel to sites and offices as and when required, in line with COVID-19 guidelines.

Contract length: 7 months
**Salary**: Up to £30,000.00 per year
