**JOB DESCRIPTION** Job responsibilities**
- Works in a warehouse style environment alongside security
- Performs manual handling 50% of time
- Captures, timely and accurately, all transactions in the Risk Management Systems
- Completes intraday / end of day processes including completeness and reconciliation checks to ensure capture of new trading activity and general book management has been processed accurately
- Works closely with Operations functions and infrastructure groups to support a ‘one team approach’
- Ensures all controls are diligently performed, completed, and signed off on a timely basis
- Builds an in-depth understanding of all trading structures from both a financial and operational perspective
- Reports to the Precious metals management team
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:
- Being physically fit to be able to lift 30kg per item and in total up to 15tonnes per day as part of the duties
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure and adaptable to shift in roles and willing to learn new tasks
- First class communication and inter-personal skills enabling you to operate effectively with colleagues
- A high level attention to detail is essential in this role
- Competent forklift truck driver or have a full driving license
- Familiar with in LBMA - London Bullion Market Association** **/ LPPM - London Platinum and Palladium Market / LPMCL - London Precious Metals Clearing Limited codes of practice and work in accordance with these
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
