**Flood and Coastal Engineer**

**Location - Brighton**

My client, is seeking an experienced **Flood and Coastal Engineer** to join the team in the heart of Brighton. They are currently completing numerous cutting edge projects designing innovative solutions for flooding in the coastal environment.
- MSc in Civil and/or Coastal engineering
- Experience working on coastal projects
- Be able to design fish passes, flood gates and seawalls.
- Have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Contractor as a flood or coastal engineer.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Deliver successful river engineering and/or coastal engineering projects.
- Feasibility studies to detailed design for coastal projects.
- Detailed design of: fish passes, sea walls, flood gates, weirs, embankments and revetments.
- River Engineering.
- Prepare technical reports.
