Senior Sen Tutor

National Star are seeking to appoint an inspirational Senior Tutor to deliver high quality programmes for young people with complex disabilities which may include Autism, Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) and/or Multiple Learner Disabilities.
You will have experience of delivering innovative and person centred sessions to young people in a specialist setting and have an understanding of a post 16 curriculum.
You will have sound knowledge of Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and be able to contribute to helping learners achieve their outcomes. Your teaching and recording of progress will meet required professional standards and ensure high quality provision for young people with complex learning difficulties.
As well as teaching, you will support the Programme Manager in the development of the curriculum and help to manage colleagues within Personal Development and Positive Contribution pathway. You will be dynamic and an excellent team member, who is able to model excellent practice and develop colleagues to do the same. Flexible problem solving is a must for this role. You will be an effective communicator who can build positive relationships with both colleagues and external stakeholders.
